The LAWASIA Moot Competitions provide law students with a fantastic opportunity to analyse and present arguments on issues that are of international or LAWASIA interest.
The inaugural LAWASIA Moot Competition was held in Gold Coast, Australia in 2005.
The 2nd LAWASIA Moot Competition 2007
The 2nd LAWASIA Moot Competition 2007 was held in conjunction with the 20th LAWASIA Biennial Conference at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) on 6 & 7 June 2007. The University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law was the host of the Competition and the Law Society of Hong Kong was the official sponsor. The topic of the Moot Problem this year was on Cross-border Child Abduction.
